Copy Nintendo Wii Games Easily!
“THE CHALLENGE!”
When it comes to copying games, people tend to get a little nervous. Here's why.

Is it legal? Yes. You can copy games you own for your own purposes, without stepping on any copyright laws or violating any agreements.

Is it complicated and difficult? No. By following instructions, having the right hardware, and installing or owning the right software, it's actually quite simple. You don't have to be a programmer or utter geek in order to do it.

Is it expensive? Not as expensive as replacing your game collection. No, as long as you have a halfway decent computer that can burn DVD's, you're set. If you do need to invest in a DVD burner, the cost is negligible compared to what you would lose if you lost a game or two.

Is a mod chip needed? Not with the Wii. You can soft mod the Wii allowing you to play your copied games just like you installed a mod chip. The soft mod option is software based meaning you simply install a patch to your Wii and it's ready to go.

“THE BENEFITS”
Wii technology is one of the greatest inventions in gaming—physical movement functioning as the game controller. But, great invention though it may be, Wii technology is changing. Wireless Wii-like inventions are already available, and the Wii is simply the first step in a revolution of gaming. It's more important than ever to back up the games that you own now, in order to preserve them as the technology changes and advances. Just a few short years from now, you'll find yourself yearning for the good old days of the original Wii games. Here are some of the benefits of copying Wii games.

You have a backup in case of damage. The Wii is a social sport. What do you do when friends come over for a party? Hang out at the Wii. With all those people shuffling disks around, your Wii games can easily take a beating. On the other hand, what's Wii without some food to keep your energy up? Food, plus some greasy fingers, plus dropping a disk means goodbye game. The easy alternative to these risks is to copy your Wii game. Now you have a backup. Do what you please.

You save money. Games are expensive. At $40-50 per game, it's easy to stack up a lot of cash in exchange for games. When one of your games decides to go kaput, you're in a situation of shelling out another fifty. Not something you want to do if you can avoid it.

You spare yourself frustration. There is nothing quite as agonizing as pulling out a game—one that you've been wanting to play for a very long time—only to discover that it's not working. Have you copied the game? Problem solved. Whip out your copied game, and you're ready to roll. Copying Wii games is an investment. It's like insurance for your gaming hobby.

“Let's Get Started”
In order to successfully copy Wii games, it is important to remember a few key points. First, it's not extremely simple, and carefully following instructions is in order. No, you don't need an in-depth knowledge of game programming; you simply must heed each step of the instructions. Second, to copy Wii games or simply backup Wii games you need the right tools. Without the proper software and hardware, copying is not going to happen.

Download the software needed: CopyAnyGame V3.26

Insert your Wii game into your DVD drive, and launch the Wii game copy program. Once the program is running, simply click the start button to begin the process of copying. Be aware that this could take a couple hours. When the copying process is complete, you should have a new file in the applications folder, with an .iso extension. This file is the ready-to-burn image of your copied game.

In order to verify the accuracy of your copied file, open the "properties" option on your newly copied backup games file to find out the size of the file (right-click the icon in order to access the "properties" option). All Wii games are 4.37 gigabytes, and if your file size is different, you should copy games again (exact size 4,699,979,776).

This next step involves creating a physical DVD copy of the actual game. Simply use a high-quality disk and burn the .iso file using your computer's DVD writer. CopyAnyGame V3.26 not only includes the ability to rip the game to your hard drive, it also offers a simple one click burning option. Simply use a high-quality disk and burn the file using your computer's DVD writer.

After the writing process, which could take a couple of hours, your new game copy is ready to be used in any Wii console.

“Play From External Hard Drive”
That's right. You heard it here first. It is now possible to rip your Wii games or download them online, save them to an external USB drive and play them directly from the drive. No burning required. Save all of your Wii games to a cheap hard drive and access them easily whenever needed. Check out the video below to see the interface in action:

If the video impressed you—and it certainly impressed me—you'll want to dive into the tutorial that we offer to our CopyAnyGame members. It covers how to install the USB loader, the game manager, and even how to set up the cover and disc art as seen in the menu in the demonstration video.
