The benefits of paying for cosmetic surgery for a loved one
It's the old story (for men in particular), namely just what to give the girlfriend, boyfriend or spouse. Most people no doubt will give flowers and chocolates; others may be a little more extravagant and give jewelery. But what about thinking a little more creatively? If the money stretches, a holiday is another way to reach the love of your life's heart. Or perhaps an ‘experience' is more to taste. This could range from dancing lessons to plane lessons.
However have you ever thought of buying your loved one, cosmetic surgery?
Of course, for some this could just result in a slap on the face. But cosmetic surgery isn't just about improving your appearance it can also be about enhancing great features already present.
Many people, both men and women will complain about what is wrong with them; equally some will say that while they are satisfied or not unhappy about a particular feature, nevertheless they might wish to improve it, if they had the money.
If so, why not offer to pay for treatment?
Of course, just offering cosmetic or plastic surgery out of the blue is not a very good idea. It certainly isn't for very short relationships. Instead, it is something that could be considered for relationships which are on solid ground when offense is less likely to be taken.
So what could you buy for your other half?
That very much depends on how much you are prepared to spend and the type of cosmetic therapy wanted. Cosmetic or plastic surgery is available for many different things now from jeweled teeth to Botox treatment and from liposuction to breast enhancement. The latter is understandably one of the most popular types of surgery with many women saying they feel the need to increase the size of their breasts.
Adding jewellery to teeth has become more popular in recent years. It isn't about improving dental health but adding a touch of sparkle to teeth. And it isn't that expensive. Teeth jewellery can cost as little as about £6 for one jewel. You simply use a non-permanent glue to fix the jewel.
Botox treatment is a little more expensive but for those who are fed up with lines and wrinkles, it can be a welcome gift.
So, why not give it a go. You might be pleasantly surprised at the answer.
If money is no object then you may want to offer to pay for more complex surgery. Breast enlargement costs around £3,000 while facelifts can cost a lot more between £4000 and £6000.
